In our style’s eye, the Queens of Oscar night were both famous and less-known. We based our plum looks on elegance and sophistication of the gown, or on the overall bearing of our favorites on the red carpet. Above all, you’ll see women who are keeping it current and fresh. The simple gowns with strong silhouettes made such a statement. And there were beautiful gowns carried more by fabrics and embellishment.
Two women made time stand still. Nicole Kidman was spectacular in the most magnificently cut, fitted, and unique column of neon Betta-fish-blue. Jane Fonda, regal in a super-modern, severe-shouldered stunner, with the slightest bit of décolleté brimming from the triangular neckline. How does she stay so sexy? Which were your favorites?
